A Denver native, Mica Dominguez-Robinson is an up and coming Soprano who graduated with her Bachelors of Music from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver and her Masters of Music at NYU Steinhardt where she performed the role of Rosalinda inDie Fledermaus. While in New York, Mica was also a resident artist with Di Capo Opera Company and performed throughout their 2011-2012 season. Mica has had the opportunity to perform as a back-up singer with Josh Groban and Shoshanna Bean and performed with Central City Opera in their bilingual education program, En Mis Palabras (In My Own Words), from 2005-2010. Mica spent two years traveling around the world performing as a main stage lead vocalist on Silver Seas Cruise lines, spent a year and a half performing in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and spent 5 months in Alaska performing at a resort through Princess Cruise lines. Some of her favorite roles include Cathy in The Last Five Years, the witch in Into the Woods, Micaela in Carmen, Marta in Company, Lily in The Secret Garden, Rosie in Bye, Bye Birdie and Eva U/s which she was lucky enough to perform in Evita at The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse and most recently ensemble in Evita at Asolo Rep under the direction of Josh Rhodes.
